Actors as Collaborators:


Laura-Kate Gordon (NIAZ) is a graduate of the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art and read Niaz in 2010.

Indira Varma (NIAZ) is an actress onstage and screen. She read Niaz in a cold reading and participated in development in 2011. Indira has played principal roles in “Lester”, “Rome”, “Kama Sutra” and “Bride & Prejudice”. She will continue to assist in realization of the role of Niaz, as the play emerges.

Éva Magyar (NIAZ) is a Director, Dancer and Actor. She has run her own theatre company and performed for The RSC and National Theatre in the UK as well as in her native country of Hungary.

Aidan McArdle (MICHAEL) is a prolific actor familiar to UK audiences from Film/TV as well as Theatre. He plays a principal role in the series ‘Garrow’s Law’, and played Dudley Moore in the BAFTA Award winning film ‘Not Only But Always’, to name a few. Aidan is currently attached to the play for a future UK production of ‘Today I Live’.

Billy Carter (MICHAEL) is a UK film/TV actor who is currently starring in the 2012 Series: ‘Titanic: Blood & Steel’

Sean T. O'Meallaigh (PADRAIC) is an actor in UK theatre and Film/TV. His face is familiar to Irish audiences, from his work in Irish-speaking television and film. Sean has been a collaborative actor on the play since 2010 and has read the role of Padraic in every UK event. He continues to advise on Irish Gaelic Language questions and other aspects of character.

Beruce Khan (FARHAD) graduated from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. He has performed widely throughout the UK including The National Theater.

Milo Twomey (FARHAD) is a television and stage actor in the UK. He is of Irish/Persian heritage, which illustrates that connection between these two cultures is not so far-fetched. His reading and comments on farsi language within the play was extremely helpful.
